Our story
Roasthouse opened in 2015 in a former hardware store on Haywood Road. We started with a tabletop roaster and one espresso machine. The 12 kg drum in the back room went in two years later.
The idea has not changed: buy green coffee we can trace, roast it in small batches, and serve it in a room where people want to stay a while. Most of our staff have been behind the bar more than three years.
We are open seven days. On any morning you will find three origins on the bar, pastries from our kitchen, and a line that keeps moving.
What people say
The pour-over here is the reason I stopped making coffee at home. They tell you the farm and the roast date, and the baristas remember your order.

We booked Roasthouse for our studio's weekly coffee cart. Forty drinks, on time, no fuss, and the invoice matched the quote.

I work remote three days a week from the window seat. Fast wifi, a real breakfast, and they refill the drip for a dollar.
